The Employment and Adult Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's labor market measures, daily activities, adult education, and issues related to higher education, such as vocational training and other post-secondary education. Our goal is to provide the residents of Botkyrka with good conditions to enter studies, work, and employment. We are 330 employees working to enable more citizens to achieve self-sufficiency.

The position and job responsibilities

Employment SoL consists of structured employment and an open meeting place.

This position is aimed at the assessed and structured employment.

We are looking for employment supervisors for Employment SoL within the unit for work and employment. The operation targets adults with mental disabilities or comorbidity and offers planned activities in a safe and structured environment. The purpose is to promote recovery, enhance quality of life, and create a meaningful everyday life with long-term support.

As an employment supervisor, you will plan and implement group activities with fixed elements, such as creative activities, gardening, wellness, and social interaction. You will be the contact person for a number of participants and responsible for establishing, following up, and documenting implementation plans in close collaboration with the participant and relevant stakeholders. The work is continuous and structured with a focus on follow-up and long-term development.

Your main job responsibilities include:

  • planning and implementing group activities according to the structure of the operation
  • being the contact person and establishing and following up implementation plans
  • documenting and quality assuring follow-ups and interventions
  • providing individual support within the framework of the assessed employment
  • collaborating with internal and external stakeholders regarding the participant.

The work is team-based together with other employment supervisors and operational leaders, where you work with joint planning and follow-up to ensure continuity and quality. If necessary, you may also support in the open meeting place within Employment SoL.

We offer you

At Employment SoL, you will be part of a workgroup with nine employment supervisors and one operational leader. The work is characterized by clear structures, joint planning, and close collaboration within the workgroup. You share responsibility for activities and participants and support each other in both daily work and in the follow-up of interventions.

You will have a mission focused on recovery, quality, and long-term support. We offer an introduction to the assignment, support in the contact person role, and the opportunity to develop activities within the framework of the operation. Here, you work in an environment where structure, participation, and professional teamwork are central elements.

Who you are

You have an education as a social pedagogue, social worker, craft pedagogue, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working with adults with mental disabilities or comorbidity.

Other requirements:

  • Experience in documentation and working with implementation plans.
  • Experience in group-based work.
  • Experience in working structured and close to individuals with planning and follow-up.
  • Driver's license (B).

We consider it meritorious if you have:

  • Experience in assessed operations.
  • Experience working in digital operational systems, such as LifeCare.
  • Training in Motivational Interviewing (MI).
  • Experience planning and implementing activities in creative activities, gardening, or wellness.

As an employment supervisor, you are structured and responsible. You plan activities, follow up on implementation plans, and ensure that interventions are carried out according to decisions and agreed goals. Your ability to work systematically creates security and continuity for the participants.

You are relationship-building and collaborative. In the role of contact person, you build trusting relationships and collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders regarding the participant. Through a professional and clear working method, you contribute to the participants' recovery and development over time.
